The Purple Elephant Project

because children should be heard

The Purple Elephant Project is a children’s mental health charity working across the London Boroughs of Richmond and Hounslow.

Every week we support over 100 children and their families with therapeutic interventions such as Play therapy and Art Therapy.

We provide support for children and their families affected by attachment, developmental trauma or life experiences. Through specialist therapeutic services, we work to transform lives; enabling children to reach their full potential and a brighter future.

Safeguarding and Child Protection Statement

The Purple Elephant Project fully recognises its moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We believe that safeguarding and child protection is everyone’s responsibility and will refer and monitor any cases of suspected abuse. Our DSL is Jenny Haylock (Jenny@Thepurpleelephantproject.org) and our DDSL is Anita Sheehan (Admin@Thepurpleelephantproject.org). Full details of our safeguarding procedures can be found in our Safeguarding Policy
